Classes

Classes are currently being run by a number of instructors until August 2013,  this is due to the that I am expecting a baby. But please note: I WILL BE BACK!

In the meantime I am working hard to ensure the cover instructors make you work and play hard! You know it’s always fun when Zumba is around!

SO Dancehall (not availble at the moment – sorry)

SO Dancehall is a Jamaican style cardio programme. It uses fun mostly dancehall  music to get you feeling and looking hot! It is enjoyable; easy to do and gets results! In each class you are taken through simple steps which are built upon to create a hot, fun dance routine which is performed at the end of the class. This class is for everyone who is mobile. There is no pressure to be precise and enough repetition for the routine to be memorable.

What is a SO Dance Fitness Bootcamp Class?

It is a fun mixture between dance fitness and hard-core resistance training. Each 45 minute class takes participants through a game playing warm-up. Then we get to business learning a simple dance based cardio routine whilst doing intense strength training exercises in intervals.

It is designed for maximum fat loss. It uses the basic principles of HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) so that you:

  • Continue to burn fat after your workout
  • Burn more calories than a purely cardio based session
  • Increase your fitness levels at an accelerated rate.
This information is backed by scientific evidence

What is Zumba?

Zumba is fun, Zumba is fresh and Zumba is a party!
Zumba is also… a latin inspired dance and fitness workout. It is a series of short dance routines set to mostly international music fused with a small drop of commercial rhythms. The classes are designed for maximum enjoyment and calorie burning greatness!

The Zumba goal is simple: “We want you to want to work out, to love working out, to get hooked.” Each class features a set of intermittent training sessions, created to get your whole body working, sculpting and burning fat.
The best way to learn about Zumba is to experience a class but here’s a taster of the kinda session you can experience.

    Hello,

Any Zumba class is suitable for young people from age 12 and beginners as in eeach class you take it at your own pace. There is no pressure to be perfect. Besides we always have so much fun that people forget to be self-conscious.

    Hi Lisa,

I am very sorry but I have been ill for the last two weeks. I have been informing people of the cancellations via email and Facebook. Would you like me to add you to the mailing list so that you know in advance whether a class will take place or not?

  18. Shok Out Admin says:

    Hi,

Thank you for asking. I will have an online dance boot camp video available to purchase within the next few weeks. x

  19. Shok Out Admin says:

    Hi,

Sorry for the late reply. I am afraid I don’t at present but if you buy a membership for £31.50 for the month, classes are considerably cheaper. Or if you buy a £20 punchcard you get 5 classes for £4 each. x
